Specifies procedures for the transfer of information, between application-entities and the abstract syntax for the representation of the A-UNIT-DATA association control service element (ACSE) application protocol data unit. The A-UNIT-DATA procedure is defined in terms of the interactions between peer ACSE protocol machines by the use of connectionless presentation-service, and the interaction between an ACSE protocol machine and its service-user. This Standard is identical with and has been reproduced from ISO/IEC 10035:1991.
