Defines ergonomics and describes some of the benefits to be derived from the application of ergonomics to factory and office work. Sections of the Code deal with the benefits and scope of ergonomics, job design, work posture, workplace design, equipment, fatigue, visual work environmental factors, personal protective equipment and training, and an appendix lists complementary Standards and publications.
