This specification applies to sawn hardwoods, primarily Eucalypt species, indigenous to Eastern Australia and intended for the following uses: (i) Scantlings for dressing and for light timber-framed construction. (ii) Sawn boards for milling into flooring, lining, weatherboards and mouldings. (iii) Sawn weatherboards for use off-the-saw. (iv) Sawn sections suitable for manufacture into sills.
