This International Standard deals with the safety of electric dishwashers for household and similar purposes that are intended for washing and rinsing dishes, cutlery and other utensils, their rated voltage being not more than 250 V for single-phase appliances and 480 V for other appliances. This Standard will supersede AS/NZS 60335.2.5:2002 three years from the date of publication (i.e. on 27 June 2017).
