Specifies quality requirements for software packages and instructions on how to test a software package against these requirements. The Standard particularly applies to third party testing and deals with software packages as offered and delivered. It does not deal with production processes. This Standard is identical with and has been reproduced from ISO/IEC 12119:1994.
