Electrical installations – Classification of the fire and mechanical performance of wiring system elements

Sets out a classification scheme for wiring systems according to their resistance to the hazards of fire and mechanical damage. Type tests to verify the level of protection provided by a wiring system are given. Intended for reference in other Standards which specify wiring systems with a degree of resistance to damage from fire or mechanical impact.
