This Standard sets out a procedure for testing the compatibility of two or more materials used as a paint system or part thereof, such as primer and undercoat, or primer, undercoat and finishing paint – examining the recoating properties of a material applied over itself; and checking the effect of the underlying coat(s) on the finish of the dry film.
