Applies to the use of prestressed concrete in civil engineering structures (excluding pipes) and in buildings erected under the provisions of building regulations, by-laws, ordinances and the like, the design and construction of which are executed under the control of a Chartered Engineer (or a person holding an equivalent qualification) who is experienced in the structural use of concrete in general and of prestressed contrete in particular.
