Applies to cranked type double-ended, double-hexagon ring wrenches and double-hexagon double-ended 15 degree offset short series type ring wrenches, for use with hexagons. This specification includes clauses on dimensions, material, heat treatment, hardness, marking, finish and proof testing by the application of torque and a list of preferred combinations. The specifiaction does not attempt to control the cross-sectional shape of the wrench shank.
