Applies to non-technical coated abrasive products, but does not cover glass cloth and sheet flint paper (for technical products see AS 1863). Quality of abrasive, backing and adhesive is specified, and sheet dimensions and minimum weights for a range of grades is given. Particular marking to distinguish the Australian product is required, and notes on storage are included.
