Deals with basic dimensions and accuracy of vee blocks used for precision measurements. It defines a standard range of blocks capable of accommodating cylinders from 1/8 in. to 5½ in. diameter. It provides for three grades of accuracy and includes some basic terms and definitions. Although basically concerned with blocks having an included angle of 90 degrees the Standard can also be used for other angles with certain modifications of nominal dimensions affected by the change in vee angle.
