Specifies the pattern of spacings of the inserts and lays down other dimensional requirements and tolerances to enable the discs to be fitted to the metal driving plate on grinding machines. It also gives a guide to the essential dimensional requirements and tolerances for the driving plate and the attaching bolts. The Standard includes eleven sizes ranging in diameter from 12 to 72 in., and a table of standard thicknesses.
