Specifies the protocol (abstract syntax) and procedures for the reliable transfer service element (RTSE) services. These procedures are defined in terms of the interactions between peer RTSE protocol machines through the use of association control service element and the presentation-service and the interactions between the RTSE protocol machine and its service-user. This Standard is identical with and has been reproduced from ISO/IEC 9066-2:1989.
