Two methods for the determination of the numerical value of the density of mercury under specified conditions, viz. by reference to a table and by calculation. The values are those proclaimed in a determination by the National Standards Commission – Recognised-value Standard of Measurement of Density – Mercury, dated 21 March 1985, in accordance with the National Measurement Act 1960.
