Applies to single-phase a.c. transformer type of resistance welding equipment. It prescribes standard sizes of spot, projection and combination spot-projection type equipment but it does not apply to control transformers and the equipment used for the sequential methods of operation, control, or timing of the resistance welding equipment. Routine and type tests are listed, with full test requirements being given in the appendices.
