Whole blood — Determination of lead — Electrothermal atomization atomic absorption spectrometric method

Sets out an electrothermal atomization AAS method for the determination of lead in whole blood in the range 0.1 micromole/L to 6 micromole/L. The use of tantalum coated furnaces is recommended to eliminate the effect of matrix differences in solvent extracts of aqueous and whole blood samples.
