Applies to articulated vehicle assemblies comprising a prime-mover vehicle with either a single or a tandem rear axle, and associated semitrailer, coupled by means of a fifth wheel and intended for normal operation on highways. It also applies to converter dollies used for converting a semitrailer to a trailer. Dimensions necessary for interchangeability are specified.
