Specifies particular requirements for a Type A1 restraint system for child occupants of motor vehicles intended for children of not greater than 9 kg mass and not greater than 700 mm supine length. The Standard is to be read in conjunction with AS 1754.1-1989 and will supersede (in part) AS 1754-1975 at a date to be decided.
