Provides artwork and specifies full dimensional and related details for the manufacture of standard road signs provided in AS 1742. It also includes examples of signs which have to be individually designed, e.g. guide signs and street name signs. A method for designing service signs using standard symbols is also included. Appendices give general guidance on signboard construction and examples of retroreflective and fluorescent sheeting, by means of colour chips.
