Makes provision for the addition, where requested by the Statutory Authority, of a statement of the value in tonnes corresponding to the minimum breaking load in kilonewtons, to the Certificate of Test and Examination and to the Supplementary Certificate of Test and Examination for steel wire rope. The provision is made as an interim measure while users of steel wire rope are becoming acquainted with the non-gravitational basis of force units in the SI and consideration will be given to its withdrqwal at the end of 1977.
