Method for the determination of wool content and mean fibre diameter of raw wool in presale lots
AS 1555-1973 sets out the procedures to be used for determining the wool content (yield) and the fibre diameter (fineness) of raw wool in sale lots which may be then combined with other lots to form a consignment. The procedure is applicable where the number of bales in the individual lot is less than 40 and where each lot is tested separately.
