Code of practice for cleaning and sanitizing milking equipment

Sets out complete cleaning and sanitizing details for the maintenance of milking equipment in a permanent state of satisfactory cleanliness, and intended to reduce milk deposits, bacteria and chemical residues, by the use of a general purpose dairy detergent in combination with an acidic detergent after each milking. Appendices provide information on water quality, reduction of sanitizer residues, and flow rates required for cleaning-in-place procedures.
