The originals of these drawings were commissioned by the CSIRO Division of Protein Chemistry. They have been made available for issue in conjunction with Australian Standard 1176, Part 1-1971, Methods of Test for the Determination of the Flammability of Textiles from which Clothing may be Made: Part 1 – Method for the Determination of Ease of Ignition. The drawings are shown dimensioned in the original imperial units in order not to delay their issue.
